cereal business, wrote on the company’s blog. “I am embarrassed and truly sorry to announce today that we are recalling boxes of Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios,” Jim Murphy, the head of General Mills’ U.S. Now 1.8 million boxes of those cereals are being recalled. That backfired this month when wheat mistakenly slipped into plain and Honey Nut Cheerios while in production at a Lodi, Calif., plant. In an attempt to boost sales, General Mills started making its Cheerios cereals gluten free back in July using only gluten-free oat flour in the recipe. Customers should stop using the cribs immediately and contact DaVinci at 1-88 for a free replacement mattress support and brackets. Crib models include the Reagan (model #M2801), Emily (#M4791), Jamie (#M7301) and Jenny Lind (#M7391). Crib models for this recall are the same as before, the difference is they have the letters “NOO” written before their serial numbers. The cribs were sold at Target and on Amazon between May 2012 and December 2013 for $150 to $250 dollars. No injuries have been reported, but if the metal bracket that connects the mattress support to the crib breaks, it could create a gap and a baby could become entrapped in the crib or fall. In June, 11,600 Bexco cribs were recalled for the same reason. Six thousand more DaVinci brand cribs made by Bexco Enterprises and sold nationwide at Target stores and on are being recalled after five additional reports of the cribs’ mattress support brackets breaking and detaching.
